Meet Elena Beckman
My name is Elena Beckman, and I grew up in the Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. I grew up with a couple dogs and have always been a MAJOR dog lover. Even when in middle school, I volunteered at the Wisconsin Humane Society as a dog-walker so I could get some extra pup time in ☺. I have been pet sitting on and off for the past four or five years for numerous families and I absolutely love it.
After attending UW-Madison for undergrad and graduating in 2016, I decided to stay in the Madison area, and I currently work as a research specialist for the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at the University Hospital. Because I live in an apartment, I do not currently have a dog, but have been looking for a way to get back into dog sitting or dog walking.
Outside of work, I like to stay active by doing yoga and running. I am also a big reader and love watching movies and sports (Go Pack Go!). I would also consider myself to be a foodie, so I love exploring the Madison restaurant scene!
I have a lot of experience with animals, so you should be able to rest easy knowing I’m taking great care of your furry friend!
