Meet Amy Clarkson
Hello, I’m Amy, and I’m excited to get to know you and your pets! I started finding my own pet sitting clients in my neighborhood in Virginia at the age of 14, and have been finding pet sitting jobs ever since, no matter where I’ve lived (Virginia, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Yosemite). I knew from the age of 4 that I wanted to work with animals, and have integrated that desire into everything I’ve done since!
I am an experienced pet sitter and dog walker, as well as a former veterinary technician at a cancer treatment center and most recently an employee of The NPS. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, exotics…you name it! I love them all! I recently moved to the Milwaukee area and am excited to combine my past work experience with the thing I love most - spending time with animals. I am very comfortable and happy to help out in homes where your animals may need extra special care. My friends have often referred to me as an "animal whisperer" and I have always said that I connect with animals like they are family.
In addition to my intense love for animals, my interests include hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, horseback riding, cooking for my friends, reading (constantly), and laughing way too hard. I can’t wait to spend time with your pets, and I know you will be more than happy knowing that they are in such good hands!
